You wake up in a very small room in front of a very large TV, with no memory of how you got there or who you are. In this satirical interactive fiction, you compete in an absurd game show, avoid elimination on the island, become the President of the United States, and watch the downfall of humanity, all while basking in the calming glow of a television screen.
This is interactive fiction. You play through an interactive story told via text -- no graphics. The latest version of the game, Release 2, is available. It fixes some of the major bugs in the original release. You can download a ZIP archive that includes everything you need to play it on a windows PC, play the game right now (using Java Web Start), or download the glulx story file by itself (pick up a glulx interpreter for your platform here).
The first release of this game can be found here (Glulx story file, entered in IFComp ‘08).
